Sitting at CBB...

I'm sitting at Coffee Beans and Brew, which Ben and I affectionately call "CBB". I love this place because it is so relaxing. I am tired from working the whole day at J.Crew...but totally excited for what God has been doing in my life.

Last week (if I'm recalling correctly), Fr. Jeff Bacon at Queen of Peace parish emailed me to tell me that he's hiring me as a part-time youth minister, the first for their parish. And although I've tried to keep it cool, I AM SO EXCITED!!!! If you know anything about my faith journey and know what's been going on with my ministry life, lol, you know this is HUGE news. I start in August and basically will be putting together a program myself from scratch. I have no idea any of the details yet because Fr. Jeff has been on vacation, but I'm pumped!

Almost on the same front, I've been asked to teach the Confirmation class at my parish. This is amazing, as the last time I taught the lady who was in charge of PSR then asked me to stop teaching. I don't think she liked me or my grandma, cause I swear it wasn't anything I did. But I'll be teaching the class starting this fall!

And I've also been "promoted" at work (J.Crew) to the Crewcuts Specialist. I have a set schedule every week now (like 11am-5pm every day) and I only focus on Crewcuts, our children's line. So stop in or send me a message and I'll put you in my client book. Yay!

I hope to post new pictures of our apartment this weekend. My mom has been so inspired by what I've been doing that she's asked me to help her with their interior decorating, as they are going to sell their house next year. She's also excited because we might be moving to Trenton (Ohio) where they live so I can be a bit closer to Queen of Peace. So I guess I'll keep gathering ideas as I'll be doing over another place soon. I'm so glad I didn't paint our apartment, as I'd hate to repaint it!

I'm also obsessing with my hair...like usual, lol! It's short right now and my cousin Kali put a ton of layers in it, so now it just wants to curl instead of go straight. It's a nightmare really...I love my hair straight. I really want sleek hair. Like a cute bob! Any ideas as to how I can get it that way? And how to cope in between? I'm freaking out here people!

Ahhhh...this is great...thank you Lord for what You're doing in my life! So many things happening! So great is Your love!
